Have you noticed that this Christmas season seems to bring about a ton of red Christmas trucks! I seriously see them everywhere...mugs, t-shirts, wall decor and even on a cookie jar!
In this video I talk about finding our purpose in life. This verse (above) really says it all....that we are to love God and others with everything in us and that these are the two greatest commandments.
So, I believe that we have 2 purposes in life, not just one. If we love God, our life and our actions will be to glorify Him. If we love others, we'll tell them about Jesus and salvation. I believe that God gives us many tasks in our lives to fulfill these 2 purposes. We can choose to be obedient and do them or not do them.
So this brings me to the reason that I made a red Christmas truck pancake. You can get in a car but have so many excuses to not even start the car that you never even drive it! So we have a choice to fulfill the big dreams and tasks that God has for us or we can make excuses, live in fear of trying and stay stuck where we are.
I believe that we will find more joy and satisfaction in our life if we are following God's tasks for us rather than our own dreams and ambitions which will leave us empty.
