Pancake Art Santa Tutorial!

I'm excited to share with you this Santa Pancake Tutorial today! You could make them for yourself or host a Christmas party...or maybe do both!

Santa Pancakes!

Mix up Pancake batter. The recipe is HERE. Divide your batter into the four colors: red, green, skin color (customizable) and white (no color). Use an electric griddle at 200 degrees that's been lightly greased with vegetable oil.

Draw the bottom of the Santa hat with the green batter and add red stripes.

 Using the red batter, create the top of the Santa hat.

Time to make the beard with the white batter.

Draw a mustache next to the Santa (off to the side).

Create a white ball for the top of the Santa hat and make a red nose.

Fill in the rim of the hat with green batter.

Fill in the hat with the red batter.

Fill in the face with the skin colored batter.

Fill in the beard and mustache with the white batter. 

Cook until the pancake is bubbly and looses most of its shine, then flip it. Let the pancake finish cooking.

Assemble the Santa pancake and add chocolate chips for eyes.

This also makes a fun lunchbox/snackbox for kids!

The lunchbox contains

• A peanut butter pancake sandwich (I made 2 for my kids)
• Pumpkin dip with apples (recipe below)
•  Bugles (that look like cornucopias)
• candy corn for an extra treat

 This recipe makes a lot and it tastes quite a bit like pumpkin pie. It's a fun way to get kids to eat both pumpkin and apples!

Pancake Art Mocha Frappe'

In this video, I'll share several areas that we need to watch out so that we don't hinder the growth of our faith in Christ.

Have you ever tried sprinkling pumpkin pie spice on whip cream? I did that for this tutorial and it was soooo yummy!

The leaves used in the above photo were from my back yard. It's getting prettier every day!

 The Mums from Walmart this year were pretty cheap (around $6) and so far they've lasted several weeks. I've been pleasantly surprised! 

Our local park is really, really pretty this time of the year! Here's several photos that I took on my latest walk!

 I love this verse! It's been on my white board all month! 

Our wild cat was so tired that he slept through the rain and got all wet. So funny! 

Warm sweaters, pretty colors everywhere, hot coffee...so much to love this time of year!

I can hardly believe that I've been creating and sharing pancake art for 7 years now both online, with my own children at home, speaking engagements and demonstrations for both children and adults. Wow! 

Over the years I've been asked many questions about pancake art...and I've learned many lessons myself. Back in November 2010, when I began this journey, there weren't very many pancake artists. At the time, I only knew of 3 others....but now there are tons of them! So needless to say, there wasn't a lot of information out there about this art form and I made many pancake art mistakes.
